Hi there!

You remember when I spread the word about #GetWatchers that helps you to gain more exposure on your art? I have realized that not everybody understood about the concept of this idea so I decided to make a little walkthrough to raise awareness for this tool.

The Michael Jackson Tribute Contest


One year ago, on June 25, 2009 the world lost a great iconic figure - MICHAEL JACKSON. His signature dance moves, legendary music videos, spectacular live shows and his multiple award-winning songs immortalized him. The exceptionally gifted singer, songwriter, dancer and entertainer was one of the most successful and influential artists of all time. A true genius.

With this Tribute Contest we want to remember and honor Michael Jackson for his lifework - his legacy to the music world. We are calling artists all around DeviantART to celebrate Michael Jackson’s life and music by entering this contest.

Thanks for the info on "getwatchers"...I joined yesterday, and submitted my ten pieces...I have noticed an increase on faves and views for those pieces...plus, it adds a new interest to DA!

I guess here's the next question: How many distinct deviants have received a Daily Deviation? I'd be very curious to know the proportion of those who have out of the total deviantArt population.

Probably a harder number to track down... :)
